PASA in State College, Pennsylvania this week

Small Farm Central is off to PASA to present in the tradeshow this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday so be sure to stop by if you will be at the conference.
This is a trip back to my Alma Mater (Penn State University), so it will be nice to have a look around despite the fact that I don't know anyone from my college days who lives there anymore.
I will be back next week with more web marketing discussions. Any specific questions I can help you with? I got a lot of great questions at Eco-farm which definitely helped direct the talk in a way that was more useful for the average farmer. So help guide this blog -- send an email or leave a comment.

Hi, I'm Simon Huntley, the lead developer here at
Help guide this blog
Hello there all the way from Australia.
We have recently relocated from the city onto 22 acres to establish what will be the first organic biodynamic market farm in our agricultural entreprise. As a horticulturalist I am delighting in finally having space, having worked in an urban environment for some 20 years.
It is with much anticipation that we receive your posts and devour what we can glean from small farming in the US, as we feel that it has much to offer - yes the seasons and climates are different, but CSA'a aren't really established here yet, so that is a area we are researching.
Marketing, economics and timing of cropping are topics that we would like to see you cover, along with general sustainability.
Many thanks, and keep up the good work.
