"Hyperlinks" or "links" move the user from one page to the next when clicked on. They are often signified by a blue text color and underlined, though this standard changes from site to site.
Throughout the Small Farm Central control panel you will see a rich text editor that you can use to translate your content into a beautiful and web accessible web page. The text editor allows you to create links by following the directions below.
- Highlight the text that you want to link.
Highlight The Text
- Click on the button the text editor that looks like a chain link. If you hold your mouse over the button it will say "Insert/edit link."
- A box will pop-up as seen below. You'll notice that there is a handy 'Link List' pull down menu; this list is all of the pages in your website. Simply click on the page that you'd like the link to be directed to and click 'Insert'.
Link List
- You'll notice that the text you highlighted is now blue & underlined, indicating that it is an active link!
New Link Underlined
- Head to your public site and double check to make sure the link worked!
