Inserting HTML Code Into Your Small Farm Central Site

External services like YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Twitter, and many more will give you special HTML code to put on your site. You may choose to create widgets or put the code on a certain page, but this is how it is done with the Small Farm Central text editor.

  1. First find the HTML code. This step is completely dependent based on the service you are trying to integrate into your site. Here is a screenshot of getting the code from YouTube:     In this case from YouTube, the code looks like this:
  1. Once you find the code, copy the code into your clipboard so you can easily paste it in to Small Farm Central.
  2. Now login to your control and navigate to the page/widget/etc that you are going to put this code into. Anywhere you can find the text editor tool bar, you can add this code into.
  3. Click on HTML in your text editor control bar. It looks like this:
  4. The editor will bring up a window with the raw code of your page. This may be a bit confusing, but try to find the text of where you want to paste the code and paste in the code you got from the service above.
  5. Close the HTML editor and save your new changes.
  6. The code will likely NOT show correctly in the control panel. You will need to open your public site and refresh the page that shows your new code to ensure that it is working correctly and looks right.
